ELECTION NOTICE CITY OF VENETA GENERAL ELECTION NOVEMBER 3, 2026 For the November 3, 2026 General Election in the City of Veneta, the following positions will be on the ballot: City Council -Two (2) positions Each position is a four-year term commencing January 2027. Candidates must qualify as a legal voter under the laws and constitution of the State of Oregon and be a resident of the City of Veneta twelve months immediately preceding the election. To be placed on the ballot, candidates must submit the following forms: Candidate Filing, Candidate Signature Sheets, and a Petition Submission to the City between Wednesday, June 3, 2026 and Tuesday, August 25, 2026, 3:30 p.m. in order to meet Lane County Election's filing deadline. Interested individuals should meet with the City Elections Officer to learn about the process, and to pick up a Candidate Packet at the City of Veneta Administrative Center located at 88184 8th Street, Veneta, Oregon 97487.
