Project: Preliminary and Final Major Site Plan approval with associated use and bulk variance relief in order to convert approximately 14,116 square feet of indoor vacant tenant space in an office/warehouse building at 500 Nordhoff Place into six badminton courts and accessory spaces.
Notice is hereby given that the Englewood Zoning Board of Adjustment, City of Englewood, New Jersey at a Virtual Public Hearing held on Monday July 28, 2025 voted to grant preliminary and final major site plan approval, a "D" or use variance to permit the proposed indoor recreation use which is not permitted in the RIM Research, Industry, Medical District Zone and the following "C" or bulk variances: (1) required minimum parking spaces for minimum required parking spaces; (2) minimum required parking stall width for regular vehicles; (3) minimum required parking stall width for small vehicles; (4) minimum required parallel parking stall length for small vehicles; (5) minimum required width for parking areas and drive aisles.
The written Resolution was memorialized and adopted on May 9, 2025. All documents related to this application may be inspected by the public between the hours of 9:00 A.M. to 4:00 P.M. in the office of the Land Use Administrator at Englewood City Hall, 2-10 North Van Brunt Street, Englewood, NJ and on the zoning board page of the City of Englewood website at the following web address: http://www.cityofenglewood.org/.
