Farmington School Additions & Renovations
Sealed bids for multiple bid packages for the project consisting of several interior renovations throughout Farmington Central Schools. The work will start in January and will need to be completed by July of 2026. Sealed bids will be received by the Board of Education of Farmington CUSD #365 at the District Office, located at 108 N Lightfoot Road, Farmington, IL 61531 until 1:00 p.m. central prevailing time on Thursday, the 4th day of December 2025.

BP 04 – Doors Frames hardware (Materials Only)
BP 05 – Aluminum Windows, Doors, and Storefronts
BP 06 – General Trades & Demo
BP 07 – Framing, Drywall, Acoustical
BP 08 – Painting
BP 09 – Flooring
BP 10 – Fire Protection
BP 11 - Plumbing
BP 12 – HVAC & Temp Controls
BP 13 – Electrical & Fire Alarm
BP 14- Landscaping

All bids must be accompanied with bid security in the form of a bid bond, certified check or a cashier's check, made payable to Farmington CUSD #265 in the amount of five percent (5%) of the bid amount. The bidder shall, within said ten (10) days, provide a Performance and Payment Bond, with a Surety to be approved by the District, in the amount of 100% of the cost of the contract, the cost of which shall be included in the bid. The form of the Performance and Payment Bond is subject to approval of counsel for the District.
Each bidder expressly agrees that such bid may not be withdrawn for a period of sixty (60) days from the opening thereof. Withdrawal within such period shall subject the bidder to forfeiture of Bid Bond, as well as penalties and damages to the District to the extent that such withdrawal results in loss to the District.
The Board of Education reserves the right to reject any and all bids or any part thereof, to waive any informalities, errors or irregularity in bids received or in the bidding process, and to accept the bid that the Board of Education deems the most favorable to its interest after all bids have been examined and canvassed. The Board of Education will award the contract to the lowest responsible bidder that meets the criteria as established in the specifications and the contract will be awarded only after a formal notice is given to the successful bidder pursuant to action by the Board of Education.
