THIS MATTER having been opened to the Court on February 24, 2026 before the Honorable Dalya Youssef, Somerset County Superior Court, with the Firm of Daniels & Davis-Daniels, Esqs., representing the Plaintiff, SHALON DIXON, KayKay Davis-Daniels, Esq., appearing therefore, and upon the Plaintiff's Complaint for Divorce and the Defendant, CHRISTOPHER MEDLIN, not appearing and the Plaintiff having filed for divorce on the grounds of irreconcilable differences and the Defendant having not filed an Answer and Counterclaim with the court and the Court having duly considered the pleadings and proofs and;
IT FURTHER APPEARING that the Plaintiff and Defendant were married on 13 December 2019, and the Plaintiff having pled and proved her cause of action for divorce on her grounds and the Plaintiff having been a bona fide resident of the State of New Jersey for more than one year next preceding the commencement of this action; and
IT FURTHER APPEARING that jurisdiction has been acquired by Publication in the Courier News, on May 22, 2025.
IT FURTHER APPEARING that the Request for Default was filed on October 10, 2025.
IT IS ON THIS 24th DAY OF FEBRUARY 2026
ORDERED AND ADJUDGED that the terms and conditions of the Notice of Equitable Distribution, Alimony, Custody and Child Support are hereby incorporated into and made a part of the Final Judgment of Divorce. The Defendant can secure a copy of this document through the court.
ORDERED AND ADJUDGED, by virtue of the power and authority of this Court and of the act of the legislature and such providing, does hereby Order and Adjudge that the Plaintiff, SHALON DIXON, be and is divorced from the bond of matrimony, from the Defendant, CHRISTOPHER MEDLIN, for the cause aforesaid and is freed and discharged from the obligations thereof and that the marriage between the parties is hereby dissolved.
