Annual Publication of Significant Violators in 2025
In accordance with the requirements of 40 CFR 403.8(f)(2)(viii) - General Pretreatment Regulations for Existing and New Sources of Pollution, NR 211.23 - General Pretreatment Requirements, the Green Bay Metropolitan Sewerage District Sewer Use Ordinance, and the terms of the Wisconsin Pollutant Discharge Elimination System permit issued by the Wisconsin Department of Natural Resources, NEW Water, the brand of the Green Bay Metropolitan Sewerage District, is required to publish a list of industrial users that were in Significant Noncompliance with applicable pretreatment standards or requirements during calendar year 2025.
NEW Water reports the following incidents of Significant Noncompliance by significant industrial users at some time during calendar year 2025:
American Alloy Green Bay, LLC was in Significant Noncompliance and received a Notice of Violation for failing to request transfer of its Industrial Wastewater Discharge Permit to its new legal company name as outlined in its Industrial Wastewater Discharge Permit for the monitoring period of January 1 – June 30, 2025.
Medalcraft Mint, Inc. was in Significant Noncompliance and received a Notice of Violation for exceeding the limits for copper and nickel as outlined in its Industrial Wastewater Discharge Permit for the monitoring period of July 1 – December 31, 2025.
Morning Glory De Pere, LLC was in Significant Noncompliance and received a Notice of Violation for failing to request transfer of its Industrial Wastewater Discharge Permit to its new legal company name as outlined in its Industrial Wastewater Discharge Permit for the monitoring period of July 1 – December 31, 2025.
Nouryon Pulp and Performance Chemicals, LLC – Howard Silica was in Significant Noncompliance and received a Notice of Violation for improper sampling as outlined in its Industrial Wastewater Discharge Permit for the monitoring period of January 1 – June 30, 2025.
ProActive Solutions USA, LLC was in Significant Noncompliance and received a Notice of Violation for improper sampling as outlined in its Industrial Wastewater Discharge Permit for the monitoring period of July 1 – December 31, 2025.
All significant industrial users have taken or are in the process of taking corrective action in order to return to full compliance.
