Franchise Ordinance to CAEC An ordinance granting Central Alabama Electric Cooperative a franchise to provide retail electric service and to construct, maintain, and operate electric distribution infrastructure within the corporate limits and police jurisdiction of the Town of Pine Level, Alabama. The ordinance applies to the electric utility services business and establishes the terms and conditions of the franchise, including insurance and indemnification requirements, compliance with Town ordinances governing work in public rights-of-way, and payment of business license taxes and police jurisdiction revenues as permitted by Alabama law. The franchise term is thirty (30) years unless earlier terminated as provided in the ordinance. Adopted by the Town Council of the Town of Pine Level on February 12, 2026.
