Under and by virtue of an order of the Superior Court of Cumberland County, North Carolina, made and entered in the action entitled "COUNTY OF CUMBERLAND, a political subdivision of the State of North Carolina vs. JACQUELINE SCOTT WALTERS AKA JACQUELINE WALTERS ALTMAN, heir of Barbara Ann Scott (Estate 23E000708-770), Owner; HEBRON ANTHONY WALTERS AKA HEBRON ANTHONY SCOTT, heir of Barbara Ann Scott (Estate 23E000708-770), all assignees, heirs at law, and devisees of HEBRON ANTHONY WALTERS AKA HEBRON ANTHONY SCOTT, heir of Barbara Ann Scott, deceased, together with all his/her creditors and Lienholders regardless of how or through whom they claim, and any and all persons claiming any interest in the estate of HEBRON ANTHONY WALTERS AKA HEBRON ANTHONY SCOTT, heir of Barbara Ann Scott, deceased, Owner(s)", the Commissioner will at 12:00 noon, on the 06/18/2026, offer for sale and sell for cash, to the last and highest bidder at public auction, at the courthouse door in Cumberland County, North Carolina, in Fayetteville, the following described real property, lying and being in Township, State and County aforesaid, and more particularly described as follows:
Beginning at a ½ inch iron pin the northern right of way (60' R/W) margin of SR 2237 at a point located South 82 degrees 41 minutes East 210.75 feet from the most southern corner of Lot No. 5 of the Upton Tyson Property shown on a map in Plat Book 58, Page 16 and runs thence North 07 degrees 19 minutes East 414.86 feet to a ½ inch iron pin; thence North 82 degrees 41 minutes West 210.75 feet to a ½ inch iron pin; thence South 07 degrees 19 minutes West 414.86 feet to a ½ inch iron pin on the aforementioned margin of SR 2237; thence along said margin South 82 degrees 41 minutes East 210.75 feet to the point of beginning, containing 2.0 acres and being a portion of that 165 acre tract conveyed to Upton Tyson by deed recorded in Book 2430, Page 793, of the Cumberland County Registry.
Subject to restrictive covenants, easements, rights-of-way, restrictions, and other conditions which appear of record in the Cumberland County Registry. PIN No.: 0443-42-0368
This conveyance is made subject to restrictive covenants, easements, and right-of-way of record.
The said property is being sold as is, with all existing conditions or faults. The last and highest bid will be accepted and will be final and irrevocable and may not be withdrawn and shall not be refunded after the sale. The last and highest bidder shall be responsible for making any investigation deemed appropriate prior to sale as to the condition of the property, the state of title to the property, or any other matter affecting the property.
The sale will be made subject to all outstanding city and county taxes and all local improvement assessments against the above-described property not included in the judgment in the above-entitled cause. This sale will not convey any personal property that may be located on the real property and the Commissioner makes no warranties or representations as to whether improvements to real property are real or personal in nature. A deposit of 20% or $750.00 whichever is greater in cash or certified funds of the successful bid will be required.
