Consider/Approve 2026-27 At-Will Employee Salary Increases 2026-27 At-Will Employee increases of 2.12% for employees. Motion made by: Andrew Ricklefs Motion seconded by: Jerud Thompson Voting results: Unanimously Approved Student Meal Support Fund Donation Option Proposal - Tace Clarke, Food Service Director, was present to discuss a student meal support fund donation proposal with the board. The purpose of the proposal is to implement a simple donation option within the district's Infinite Campus system to support meal accounts and reduce unpaid balances. The estimated total negative meal balances are approximately ($24,214.43). This is higher than typical, though it is not unusual to see balances increase this time of year as some families make payments at the end of the school year. The district maintains a Charity Account with a current balance of $7,285.47. This fund has been supported through a significant past donation from the Mel Clouser memorial fund and annual contributions from graduating seniors. To ensure responsible use, families must complete a short application to request assistance. This allows verification of need and provides support through partial payments, matching funds, or full balance relief when appropriate. This structure requires families to take the first step and allows the district to apply funds thoughtfully, rather than automatically covering balances. There is clear interest from the community in supporting this work, but there are competing priorities and the lack of a simple system. Those opportunities have not been fully realized. This proposal creates a straightforward way to capture and act on that interest. After the lengthy discussion, the board provided permission to move forward with the addition of a donation option within the School Store and allow the Food Service Department to implement and communicate the opportunity to families. The general fund budget expenditures are at 69.39%, which is (2.04%) below the 71.43% target. Last month was (2.6%) below budget expenditures.
