This is an online accountability tool that reports how public schools in Iowa are performing across multiple learning measures, such as: proficiency, growth, attendance and post-secondary readiness. The ISPP assigns a composite score and rating for each school. It also identifies schools requiring additional support under the federal Every Student Succeeds Act (ESSA) framework and provides publicly accessible data to help all stakeholders engage in meaningful improvement dialogue.
Gilbert Logo Information - Troy Banning, Director of Community Engagement, provided information regarding Gilbert logos, along with Activities Director, Ian Smith. The patron and parent, Nick Schalinske, were also present to discuss the current logo issues and possible changes. Due to trademark issues, the current Gilbert tiger logo will need to be redesigned, along with other Gilbert logos. This will be a process that will take years and will use student, staff and community input and will be a phasing process over the next several years.
