NOTICE TO PROPERTY OWNERS AND OTHERS ENTITLED TO SERVICE
PLEASE TAKE NOTICE, that the undersigned, Patrick Flinn, has filed an application with the Hopatcong Borough Land Use Board seeking land use approvals in order to develop property along 9 Oakdale Avenue, Hopatcong, NJ. The subject property consists of one tract of land located in R-1 Residential Zone and is more specifically, identified as Block 50509 Lot 5 on the Tax and Assessment Map of the Borough of Hopatcong. The Applicant is seeking approval from the Hopatcong Borough Land Use Board in order to replace a dock. The Applicant will also install associated site improvements in regard to this application and more specifically set forth on the plans. The Applicant seeks the following variances: 242-30C(2) dock sideyard setback; 242-30C(4) water area coverage; 242-30C(5) maximum dock width; 242-30C(10) maximum size of irregularly shaped dock.
The Applicant may also apply for such variance relief, exceptions, waivers, permits, approvals or licenses that are deemed necessary or appropriate by the Applicant or the Board and which may arise during the course of the hearing process. This application is on the calendar for the Land use Board for the Borough of Hopatcong. The initial public hearing in regard to this application will take place on Tuesday, February 3, 2025 at 7:00 p.m. at the Hopatcong Borough Municipal Building, 111 River Styx Road, Hopatcong, New Jersey 07843. When the case is called, any interested party may appear at said hearing and participate therein in accordance with the rules of the Land Use Board. This case may be heard on the above date or any adjourned date designated by the Land Use Board at this public meeting without additional notice. The maps, plans, plats and applications for approval of this matter are on file with the Office of the Planning Department and are available for inspection at the Planning Department located within the Hopatcong Brough Municipal Building, 111 River Styx Road, Hopatcong, New Jersey 07843 during normal business hours. This Notice is being published in accordance with the requirements of the Municipal Land Use Law and the Ordinances of the Borough of Hopatcong.
