HOPKINTON PUBLIC SCHOOLS HOPKINTON, MASSACHUSETTS 01748 Invitation for Bid REQUEST PROPOSALS FOR: School Flooring INTERESTED PARTIES: The Hopkinton Public Schools, hereinafter referred to as the "Owner," invites sealed bids from qualified flooring contractors for the removal of existing vinyl composition tile (VCT) flooring and installation of new luxury vinyl tile (LVT) flooring in up to ten (10) classrooms at Hopkinton Middle School, 88 Hayden Rowe Street, Hopkinton, MA. An optional site visit will be held at Hopkinton Middle School on February 25, 2026 at 3:00 PM. Contractors are encouraged to attend to verify existing conditions. Failure to attend shall not relieve the bidder of responsibility for field conditions. Proposal specifications can be obtained electronically via srothermich@hopkinton.k12.ma.us, and proposals will be accepted at the Office of the Superintendent of Schools, Administration Building, 89 Hayden Rowe Street, Hopkinton, Massachusetts 01748, from 8:30 am to 4:00 pm, Monday through Friday, until March 13, 2026 12:00 PM. Proposals will be accepted only if sent by Certified Mail, or delivered by hand between the hours of 8:00 am and 4:00 pm, and in either case must be sealed and clearly marked: BID: School Flooring DUE: March 13, 2026 at 12:00 PM Award will be made to the lowest responsive and responsible bidder. The Owner reserves the right to waive minor informalities, reject any or all bids, or accept alternates in the best interest of the Owner.
