HYDRANT FLOW TEST NOTICE The City of New Bedford Department of Public Infrastructure Water Division, in conjunction with: GGD Consulting Engineers, Inc. will be conducting a fire flow test; Date: Wednesday, June 3, 2026, 8:00AM Location: In the vicinity of Ashley Boulevard between Dewey Street and Menton Street, and Church Street between Chaffee Street and Lynn Street Time: 8:00AM which consists of opening one or more hydrants for short periods of time. Due to the opening of the hydrants and the reverse flow of the water; this may cause a discoloration of the water for a limited period of time in the immediate and outlying areas.
