Public Comment: Nick Eakins from Perry; Richard Dixon from Indianola; & Jim Caufield from Perry commented on service reductions. Longhorn moved to approve May 28, 2026 and June 4, 2026 minutes, 2nd McCombs; motion carried. Longhorn moved to approve June 15, 2026 minutes, 2nd McCombs, Chapman abstained; motion carried. Longhorn moved to receive and file May 2026 financial report, 2nd Fitch; motion carried. McCombs moved to approve FY2026 Iowa DOT Contract 00010322, 2nd Longhorn; motion carried. Longhorn moved to authorize staff to reach out to Freedom Financial Bank and inquire about issuing a money market account based off a 90-day T-bill minus 25 basis points. If not, will they match the offer at Vision Bank of a 90-day T-bill minus 50 basis points, 2nd Fitch; motion carried. Longhorn moved to approve the FY2026 amended budget and FY2027 budget as presented with a 5% increase to audit expense, 2nd Chapman; motion carried. Adjourned at 9:53AM.
