100 YEARS YOUNG
I LOVE YOU BIG PAPA!!
As long as I can remember, you always would preach to
us about being an “Elite Family.” Always being here for
each other and loving one another. Now it’s up to us to
keep your legacy of being Elite as a family going.
Being grown and having my own family now I understand your
passion for bettering each other and I’m grateful for that!
I miss my Friday dinners at Patti’s. You loved the potato soup,
your veal cutlets and of course your margaritas. I remember how
respected and loved you were, and still are to this day.
I will continue to do what you taught us and that is to be “Elite.”
You were the glue to our family and the calm for all storms.
Now we face a world without you, but your voice of
advice will always remain embedded in my head.
I know my humor comes from you. Always brighten up a room
with jokes and laughter. The time you told Nana “Does this turn you on?” flexing not knowing my mom was watching. I remember when I would ask you to move your ears and you would look me in the eye and raise your eyebrows up and down. I would laugh!! All the times you called me out of school to change Derek and Raina’s diaper because you had a weak stomach for that. The first time I heard you cuss because I wrecked my truck. The conversation we would have about adapting to the world and life and how it changes every 20 years.
You taught us well and I will continue as one of your
“Guys” to remain to be Elite, for myself and my family. As a Gallegos I will keep your legacy alive. I’m going to continue to make you proud and teach my boys what you taught me. HOW TO BE GREAT!!
We all miss your presence, your smile, your laughter and just miss you. Nana is taken care of!!
Miss you BIG PAPA gone but still living through your “Guys” (Me)!!
Love,
Your Gang
