IN MEMORIAM

Robert C. Meggison 1935-2023 Robert “Bob” Meggison passed away on June 23rd, 2023. Husband to Hazel, father of Susan, Sheila, Patrick and Michael and grandfather of Meghan, Sean, Lane and Drew. A veteran of the Army, Robert never tired of recounting his adventures while stationed in Germany. He formed life-long bonds with several of the soldiers in his barracks and held annual reunions with these friends each fall in Oklahoma. He enjoyed traveling with his wife and children and loved sharing stories about the many family trips to Colorado and points beyond which he looked forward to each summer. He liked fishing and sports. He was an excellent carpenter and welder. He took pride in keeping his yard well-manicured and would spend hours mowing and trimming it to perfection. Robert worked as a Plant Operator at Kansas Power & Light in Tecumseh, Kansas, from which he eventually retired. He made many friends there, as well. We honor his memory with this brief tribute. We miss him every day.
