INVITATION FOR BID MILLING & RESURFACING OF KEENE ROAD AND VARIOUS STREETS TOWN OF FREETOWN, MASSACHUSETTS The Town of Freetown is hereby soliciting sealed bids for the Milling and Resurfacing of Keene Road, Mason Road, Washburn Road and a portion of Slab Bridge Road. The work consists of pavement milling and resurfacing of approximately 3.6 miles of local streets. Bids will be open at the Office of the Board of Selectmen at the Freetown Town Hall on Thursday, August 13, 2026 at 2:00 P.M. Bids received after such time will not be accepted. Sealed envelopes containing bids must be clearly marked in accordance with the Bidding Contract Requirements. Each Bid must be accompanied by a bid security consisting of a BID BOND or CERTIFIED CHECK issued by a responsible bank or trust company in the amount of 5% of the bid price.
