GENERAL WAYNE A. DOWNING PEORIA INTERNATIONAL AIRPORT
Sealed bids, subject to the conditions contained herein, will be received until 3:00 p.m. (local time), August 18, 2026 and then publicly opened and read aloud in the Airport Board Room on the second floor, Peoria International Airport, 6100 W. Everett McKinley Dirksen Parkway, Peoria, IL 61607 for furnishing all labor, materials and equipment, and performing all work for Airport Traffic Control Tower Facility Field Cabling located at the Peoria International Airport.
Copies of the Contract Documents including Project Drawings and Technical Specifications are on file and may be inspected on or after July 8, 2026 at:

To receive Addendums, Notices, etc., the Bidder shall submit the required information to be on the plan holder list maintained by CMT. Required information includes bidder name, primary contact, primary contact email address, phone number and mailing / shipping address.
A non-mandatory Pre-Bid Meeting for this project will be held at 2:00 p.m. (local time), July 22, 2026 in the Airport Board Room on the second floor, Peoria International Airport, 6100 W. Everett McKinley Dirksen Parkway, Peoria, IL 61607.

The work to be done under this contract includes the furnishing of all labor, material, equipment, tools, and all associated work necessary for Airport Traffic Control Tower Facility Field Cabling at the Peoria International Airport. The approximate quantities for major work items are as follows: 4,600 LF 4"-4-Way Concrete Encased Duct Bank, 3,100 LF 4" Directional Bore, 34,600 LF Control Cable, & 12,500 LF Fiber Optic Cable.
Each proposal must be accompanied by a bid guaranty in the amount of five (5) percent of the total amount of the bid. The bid guaranty may be by certified check or bid bond made payable to Metropolitan Airport Authority of Peoria.
All proposals submitted in accordance with the instructions presented herein will be subject to evaluation. Bids may be held by MAAP for a period not to exceed ninety (90) calendar days from the date of the bid opening for the purpose of conducting the bid evaluation.
Prospective Bidders are hereby advised that award of contract and start of work is contingent upon the Owner receiving approval and adequate Federal funding assistance from the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA).
This project is subject to the following Federal provisions, statutes and regulations including but not limited to 49 CFR Part 26, Disadvantaged Business Enterprise, and 29CFR Part 5, Davis Bacon Act. In accordance with 49 CFR Part 26.45, the sponsor has established a contract goal of 5.5% percent participation for small business concerns owned and controlled by certified socially and economically disadvantaged enterprise (DBE). The Contractor is required to comply with the wage and labor requirements and to pay minimum wages in accordance with the schedule of wage rates established by the United States Department of Labor.
