INVITATION TO BID FOR CONSTRUCTION SERVICES The Stillwater Sewer Corporation (SSC) will receive sealed bids, in the manner and at the place further identified in the Instructions to Bidders, for the Manhole Replacement Project. A Prevailing Wage determination has been requested from the PA Department of Labor and Industry and Prevailing Wage Rates apply to this project. The project briefly described is: Provide materials, labor, and equipment for the replacement of six (6) sanitary sewer manholes. A complete electronic set of the Bid package including scope of services, and bid documents, may be obtained at Kiley Associates, LLC, 240 Main Street - Lower Level, Hawley, PA 18428; 570-226-5810, during normal business hours, 8:30 AM to 4:00 PM weekdays. Sealed bids should be marked "Manhole Replacement Project – Attention: Joe Hudak, P.E." and received by the SSC at the offices of Kiley Associates, LLC., P.O. Box 317, 240 Main Ave.-Lower Level Hawley, PA 18428, 570-226-5810 until 3:00 PM on Thursday, July 30, 2026. Bids will not be accepted via email or fax. Bids will be privately opened after the bid due date and time. Prior to awarding, Bids may be held by the SSC for a period not to exceed thirty (30) days from the date of Bid Opening for the purpose of reviewing Bids, investigating the documents, and qualifications of the bidder. The SSC will award the bid to the lowest responsible bidder, reserving the right to waive any informality and accept or reject any and all Bids. A bid bond for 10% of the base bid amount shall be provided with the bid. A performance & payment bond in the amount of 100% of the contract amount shall be provided by the successful bidder within 20 days of the award. Any Request for Information (RFI) must include specific identification of the Project by name and shall be directed to Joseph D.
