INVITATION TO BID PROJECT #2024-020712, PALM TRAN BELLE GLADE COMPLETE REPLACEMENT VEHICLE WASH State Contracting & Engineering Corp. (SCEC) is the Construction Manager at Risk (CMAR) and is requesting bids from qualified subcontractors on behalf of Palm Beach County. Participation of SBE and DBE firms is encouraged. Bid documents will be available only from SCEC. This project is federally funded and administered through Palm Beach County / Palm Tran, and Davis-Bacon & related acts will apply to all construction work performed on this project There will be a NON-MANDATORY Pre-Bid Meeting onsite on 07/08/26 at 10:00 AM (EST). Meet at the Main Entrance of 38601 James Wheeler Way, Belle Glade, FL 33430. BIDS DUE on 08/04/26 at 2:00 PM (EST) via email, precon@statecontracting.com. Note that ALL SUBCONTRACTORS MUST be pre-qualified with SCEC before the Bid Date, for info email precon@statecontracting.com. The scope of work may include, but is not limited to, demolish, remove and properly dispose of existing Vehicle Wash Equipment in existing Building as per all Federal, State and Local County regulatory requirements. The removal and replacement of existing exhaust ventilation. Existing Building to be pressure washed and repainted. SCEC reserves the right to reject any or all bids and waive any informality or irregularities in the bids and re-advertise bids for any reason.
