INVITATION TO BID ROEBLING ARMS WEATHERIZATION PROJECT (REBID) Saint Joseph's Carpenter Society (SJCS) intends to solicit bids to complete energy efficiency and other health and safety repairs to Roebling Arms apartments at 1340 Hornberger Ave, Roebling, NJ 08554. SJCS is seeking licensed and certified general contractors to provide material and labor for this project, including but not limited to: insulation, air sealing, window installation and insulation, bathroom fan installation, ventilation measures, and other related work. SJCS will receive bids at our corporate office located at 20 Church Street, Camden, NJ 08105. This bid package can be received via email request to mmahon@sjcscamden.org or physically received at our offices any business day on or after June 17, 2026. Bidders are required to comply with the requirements of P.L 1975 C.127. Minority Business Enterprises (MBE) will be offered full opportunity to bid and will not be subject to discrimination on the base of race, color, gender, or national origin in consideration of an award. If awarded the bid, the company/firm shall be required to comply with the requirements of NJ S.A. 10:5-31 et seq. and NJ A.C. 17:27 et sq. Bidders must commit to paying local prevailing wages via the Davis-Bacon Act and follow regulations of the Bipartisan Infrastructure Law. Bidders are to follow "Buy American" provisions as much as possible this job. SJCS intends to award the job to the lowest responsible bidder. SJCS reserves the right to reject any and all proposals when it is determined by SJCS to be in its best interest. SJCS further reserves the right to waive minor irregularities in bids submitted in response to this bid. Bid packages are due to SJCS on July 7, 2026, at 3:00 pm. Emailed bid packages will not be accepted. Sealed physical bid packages delivered prior to July 7, 2026 at 3:00 pm will only be accepted. A walkthrough of the scope of work at 1340 Hornberger Ave, Roebling, NJ 08554 is scheduled for Wednesday, June 24th at 10 am. Questions to the bid package are due by June 30, 2026, at 12 pm. SJCS will not accept bid packages or questions after the times specified for submissions. Any bid packages or questions received after these times will be deemed invalid.
