INVITATION TO BID On behalf of the City of Lake Wales, SEMCO CONSTRUCTION, INC., the Construction Manager for the "Lake Wales Police Annex Renovation and Addition", is soliciting subcontractor and supplier proposals. The project includes the following scopes of work: Sitework/Paving/Utilities, Fencing, Landscaping, Demolition, Concrete, Masonry, Carpentry, Wood Trusses, Millwork, Insulation, Metal Roofing/Gutters, Doors and Hardware, Ballistic Doors and Windows, Overhead Doors, Aluminum Storefronts, Windows, Framing/Drywall, Stucco, Floor Covering, Epoxy Flooring, Acoustical Ceilings, Painting, Toilet Partitions/Accessories, Ballistic Fiberglass Panels, Signage, Window Treatments, Fire Extinguishers, Fire Sprinklers, Plumbing, HVAC, and Electrical/Fire Alarm/Low Voltage. Sealed Bids are due to SEMCO Construction, Inc., 205 Century Blvd, Bartow, FL 33830, on or before Wednesday, February 4, 2026 @ 4:00pm. Bids may also be uploaded via BuildingConnected.com. No bids will be accepted after the time and date specified. There will be a Pre Bid Meeting and Site Visit on Tuesday, January 13, 2026, at 9:00am. Prospective bidders are to meet at jobsite, 122 E Tillman Ave, Lake Wales, FL 33853.
