CONTRACT DOCUMENTS: In order to access the Contract Documents (Plans, Specifications and Supplements) the Non-Disclosure Agreement (NDA) must be submitted to Mindee Hurst at mindee@childers-construction.com. NDA is located on FTP site at www.childers-construction.com under the Subcontractor Tab on the Childers Home Page, with the following information: Account: KNOTTBLDG (case sensitive) Password: EXTERIOR (case sensitive) After the NDA is submitted, the subcontractor will receive a document with an account and password to an FTP site with the Contract Documents. It is the responsibility of the bidders and vendors to inquire concerning additional Supplements and Addendums that are normally issued during the bid process. All revisions will be posted on Childers FTP site. PRE-BID CONFERENCE: will be held at 9:00 AM on Thursday, February 26, 2026 at the Knott Building. Please meet at Childers Capitol Office, 108 East Jefferson St. GENERAL PRE-QUALIFICATION: Bidders must be prequalified by the Construction Manager to bid the project. Those bidders who are NOT previously prequalified for the current 2026 year must submit the form in this bid package. Confirm your status with Savannah Truman. Prequalifications must be submitted a minimum of 7 business days prior to bid, therefore due by March 19, 2026. BID SECURITY: There is 5% security required to bid this project for EVERY Bid Package. BONDING: All bids exceeding $100,000 shall provide Performance & Payment Bonds. SEALED BIDS: will be received by the Construction Manager until 2:00 PM, Thursday, March 26, 2026. Bidders are advised to hand deliver bids or send by US mail, FEDEX or UPS to 3472 Weems Road, Unit 1, Tallahassee, FL 32317 and must be confirmed by the bidder by calling our office 850-222-2281.
