INVITATION TO BID
SOUTHERN STANDARD CONSTRUCTION (CGC1526318), the Construction Manager for the FSU Sliger 2nd Floor Renovation project will be accepting sealed bids from pre-qualified Trade Contractors for the following Bid Packages:

BID DOCUMENTS: Electronic bid documents will be provided via ProCore or email and are available upon request from Southern Standard Construction beginning March 20, 2026. Contact Information: Vanessa Anderson (email: vanderson@southernstandard.cc). All bidders must be pre-qualified prior to submitting a bid. Invitations to pre-qualify will be sent via ProCore and per request by email to jgranger@southernstandard.cc. Performance and Payment Bonds shall be required for all proposals over $100,000.
BID REQUIREMENTS: All bids shall be submitted in accordance with Instructions to Bidders and other instructions contained in the Bid Requirements. Bid Requirements include the Bid Packages and will be available on April 7, 2026.
PRE-BID MEETING: A NON-MANDATORY pre-bid meeting will be held on April 7, 2026 at 10:00 AM, EST at the Sliger Building located at 2035 E. Paul Dirac Drive, Tallahassee, FL 32310.
BID DUE DATE: The Trade Bids will be due April 28, 2026 at 2:00 PM EST. Bids will be opened and publicly read aloud immediately thereafter at Southern Standard Construction's office, located at 3233 Thomasville Road, Tallahassee, FL 32308. Late bids will not be accepted.
Southern Standard Construction desires to provide equal access to qualified Small, Minority and Women-Owned Business Enterprises (SMWBE) for all construction projects.
