INVITATION TO BID Dessin Animal Shelter will receive sealed bids, appropriately identified, for "Building & Site Renovations" until 12pm on Wednesday, July 8th, 2026, at Dessin Animal Shelter, 138 Miller Dr, Honesdale, PA 18431. The bids will be opened and read aloud that evening at the shelter's monthly board meeting. Project has one single prime construction contract - General Construction - and consists of the complete renovation of a 5,000 square foot animal shelter building. Bids shall be submitted on the form provided and shall be accompanied by a bid bond, certified check, or cashier's check equal to ten percent of the total price submitted inclusive of add alternates. Bids must remain valid for the period of time stated on the bid form. Dessin Animal Shelter reserves the right to reject any or all bids. Bidding/Contract Documents may be obtained at no charge from BDA Architects, LLC (BDA), 200 Abington Executive Park, Suite 101, Clarks Summit, PA 18411, via email from Kim Walker, kw@bdaarchitects.com.
