
INVITATION TO BIDDERS FOR PREQUALIFICATION SOUTH LYON MEDICAL CENTER'S NEW OUTPATIENT CLINIC
Miles Construction is the Construction Manager at Risk for the South Lyon Medical Center's New Outpatient Clinic Building and is seeking qualifications from subcontractors for all scopes of work for the project. The project involves constructing a new 8,000 sq.ft. medical office building and associated site work. The building is an 8,000 sq.ft. single story wood framed building. The facility will be used as an outpatient facility which will include 12 exam rooms, 2 treatment rooms, 2 lab areas, staff work areas, breakroom, provider offices, waiting/registration and other required spaces. Site work shall include 50 new parking spaces.
The building trades include, but are not limited to: surveying, cast-in-place concrete, wood framing, reinforcing steel, metal fabrications/decorative metals (i.e. stairs, railings, etc.), rough carpentry, architectural woodwork, damp proofing and waterproofing, water repellents, thermal insulation, weather barriers, EIFS, metal wall panels, membrane roofing, flashing & sheet metal, roof specialties/accessories, fire and smoke protection, joint caulking and sealants, doors, frames & hardware, entrances & storefronts, glazing, windows, louvers & vents, gypsum board assemblies, tiling, acoustical ceilings, flooring, wall coverings, fiberglass reinforced wall panels, acoustical treatments, painting and coating, visual display surfaces, signage, wall and door protection, toilet and accessories, fire protection specialties, window treatments, countertops, fire suppression, plumbing, HVAC and integrated automation facility controls, electrical, diesel generator, lighting and lighting controls, communications/structured cabling, audio/visual systems, electronic access control and intrusion detection, fire detection and alarm, earthwork (i.e. site clearing, mass grading, excavation and fill, erosion and sediment controls, fine grading, etc.), exterior improvements (i.e. asphalt paving, site concrete, curbs and gutters, pavement markings, etc.), site improvements (i.e. fences and gates, retaining walls, etc.), landscaping and irrigation, utilities (i.e. domestic/fire water, sanitary, storm, etc.), etc.
To be eligible to provide labor, materials or equipment on this public work project, each subcontractor must be qualified pursuant to NRS 338.16991. Project will be funded by USDA requiring Build America, Buy America (BABA) Act 2022 requirements per OMB Memorandum M-22-11. Stipulations are included in notice for qualifications and exceptions.
Prequalification Due Date: Wednesday, November 19, 2025, 5:00 PM Notification to Prequalified Bidders: November 26, 2025 Plans will be available and issued to qualified subcontractors for bidding in December of 2025 with a December 2025 Bid Date. Miles Construction requires that all subcontractors provide updated Prequalification Forms every two years. If you are unsure if your companies Prequalification Form is up to date, please contact our Estimating Department or Sarah Magrogan at Estimating@milesconst.com with any questions. NOTICE: Vendors, who will perform at least 1% of the estimated value of the work or $50,000 whichever is greater, must be qualified pursuant to NRS 338.16991 and NRS 338.16995. Proposals will be returned to the vendor unopened if the vendor has not been qualified per NAC 338.580.
