CHARLES RONALD COOK
June 2, 1932 - March 26, 2024
In loving memory of our beloved husband, father, grandfather, and great-grandfather.
He was a man of quiet faith who trusted in Jesus Christ as his Savior. Married for 67 beautiful years, he cherished his wife, Barbara, and built a loving home that became the foundation for his family. The start of Chuck and Barbara's life together began with humble beginnings. They often laughed about their first date--a drive-in meal, chosen because his Coast Guard Seaman Recruit paycheck was late. It was the start of a love that would last a lifetime. Persevering through lean times, he was a devoted provider, working hard everyday to give his family a secure and loving life, and culminating in the establishment of their own meeting planning business, Chuck Cook and Associates. Outside of work, he found joy in the simple pleasures that made life rich: casting a line for largemouth bass on quiet mornings, playing a round of golf with friends or family, and traveling with his wife to new places. He had a special appreciation for God’s creation, especially the beauty of birds and wildlife that always caught his eye and brought a smile to his face. As husband and wife they raised three children, welcomed eleven grandchildren, and were blessed with thirteen great-grandchildren. He loved his family fiercely and modeled a strong work ethic and integrity in everything he did. Though he is no longer with us, the lessons he taught, the faith he lived, and the love he gave will continue to guide and comfort our family every day. He is deeply missed, but those who loved him take comfort knowing he is at peace in the presence of his Savior. He will forever remain in our hearts.
