Barbara (Reardon) Richardi
1953-2023
Known as “Babcia” to her grandchildren, Barbara was a proud mother and grandmother. She had a great sense of humor, and loved to tell jokes and laugh. She marched to the beat of her own drum, and was known for telling fantastical, yet (slightly to mostly) inaccurate tales. She was passionate about collecting antiques and spent weekends perusing yard sales in search of lost treasure. She was known for decorating her home for all holidays and peppering her yard with lawn ornaments. Barbara adored her little dogs, Butchie and Morkie, and reveled in wearing lots of jewelry, big sunglasses, and bright lipstick.
She is survived by her children Kristina (Josh) Powers of Great Falls, VA, Catherine Richardi of Newton, MA, Joseph Richardi Jr. of Fayetteville, NC, and Stephen Richardi of Freeport, ME; her grandchildren Jane Verity, Caleb, Dimitri, Olivia, Charlie, and Joey; her partner Bob Karas of Pembroke; her former husband Joseph Richardi of Braintree; siblings Christine (Norman) Edminster, David (Janet) Reardon, Jean Reardon, John (Denise) Reardon, Kathleen (John ) Sullivan, Lenore (Philip) Malm, and Steven (Rachel) Reardon, and many nephews and nieces. She is preceded in death by her beloved daughter Michelle Richardi, mother Barbara Reardon, and siblings Patricia Alexander and James Reardon.
