Jeri Thomas June 4, 1944 – August 16, 2022 And so, family and friends, while we grieve this separation from our beloved Jeri (to the grandchildren, it will always be ‘ChiChi’) we grieve not as those who have no hope. Indeed, we, of all people, possess the ultimate hope, for our hope is in Jesus, the Christ. He is God incarnate! Were she here now, Jeri would quote the scripture that she read so faithfully, a portion of which says, “For since we believe that Jesus died and rose again, even so, through Jesus, God will bring with Him those who have fallen asleep in Christ.” O yes, we KNOW in Whom we have believed….! “Therefore, encourage one another with these words.” So Praise God, Jeri is healed, she is safe and secure, and after 13 arduous years she is joyful in the presence of her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, and her family that has now gone on before. By God’s grace, may He help us who are left behind to be lifted up and encourage one another with these inspiring words of our loving God’s eternal truth.
