03/28/1951 - 02/12/2024
Denise, it's now been 2 years since your passing.
Wow, it seems like just a few weeks ago you and I were laughing, joking, singing, and enjoying our travel time together. Amazing, it’s been 2 years (even longer) since we traveled throughout the world together. I miss you Denise Fitchett (Van Den Heuvel). I miss your smile, your exuberant aura, your passion for life, our political discussions (very, very similar political and religious beliefs), and your upbeat motivated attitude. I miss your love for me, your family, my family, our dogs, and our friends. I miss how everyday you inspired others to be their best and achieve higher goals than they thought possible. Some people you knew for only a few hours, yet you still managed to leave your inspirational spirit within them. Most people remember you as I do. You cared about other people first. You were gentle and a concerned friend and counselor to all.
Denise Fitchett you personally gave your heart and soul to grieving family members and friends. You never complained. You always smiled. Even in your last years with your deteriorating health, you always had faith that you could survive and thrive. We tried to live our lives as we always did in the past before ailing health set in. You and I only
discussed good times of the past and dreamed of better times to come.
Your spirit led me to much better places both on Earth and spiritually. You are an angel of The Lord, sent to help others who were in more need than you. So, at nearly 73 years old The Lord took you to be with him. Your mission on this Earth was over.
Denise, I know you are out of pain and at peace. You are with your Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. I know you are happy and now serving even more people than you did in your previous 73 years.
Forever in my mind. Forever in my heart.
I miss you, I love you. See you soon sweetie.
Your husband, Terry.
