THIS COURT, having declared the provisions of Section 26-10E-17(c) being complied with in full, hereby ORDER service by publication to be immediately issued to effectuate service upon the biological parent, JOSHUA JAMES LONG, in accordance with Alabama Rule of Civil Procedure 4.3. WHEREIN publication shall be made in The Montgomery Advertiser for a period of four (4) consecutive weeks placing notice upon the individuals identified as the biological parents of the Petition for Adoption pending before this Court and the interest pertaining to their rights of the Adoptee. LET IT BE KNOWN TO THE INDIVIDUAL IDENTIFIED AS JOSHUA JAMES LONG that a Petition for Adoption has been filed for the adoption of a minor child, D.E.M. You are hereby provided notice of your right to appear in the adoption proceeding set to be heard on the 23rd day of September, 2026, at 9:00 a.m. to contest or to support the Petition but are required to file an Answer with the Probate Court of Autauga County within thirty (30) days following the last publication of this Order should you wish to act upon your rights. Failure to respond within thirty (30) days of the last publication shall result in the Court to construe such as an implied consent to the adoption, waiver of right to appear, and a waiver of further notice of adoption proceedings.
