Invitation For Bids
The Housing Authority of the City of Ingleside, Texas (hereinafter referred to as the Housing Authority), will receive sealed bids for a single construction contract for the installation of replacement HVAC systems in 98 dwelling units. Bids are to include removal/demolition of existing equipment, installation of HVAC systems,
alterations as needed and all work specified and/or shown on the drawings until: 9:00 AM 14 April, 2026 At the Office of the Housing Authority of the City of Ingleside, Texas 2322 First Street, Ingleside, Texas. Immediately thereafter all bids will be publicly opened and read aloud. Proposed forms of contract documents, including drawings and specifications, are on file and available for inspection at the Office of the Housing Authority and at the Office of RKB2 Consultants (Designer), 1217 Canterbury Drive, Abilene, Texas 79602 (325) 673-9221. Copies of documents may be obtained by depositing $100.00 with the Housing Authority for one set of documents per General Contractor. Deposits will be refunded upon return of the documents in good condition within 15 daysafter bid opening. Documents that have been taken apart or marked on are not considered to be in good condition. If electronic documents are desired they will be transmitted only through the Designers upon receipt of $100.00 payment made to RKB2 Consultants. No Pre-Bid Conference will be held. A certified check or bank draft, payable to the Housing Authority, U. S. Government Bonds, or a satisfactory bid bond executed by the bidder and acceptable surety (the Bid Bond shall be from a Company which is on the U. S. Treasury Department list, as an approved surety Company) in the amount of 5% of the bid shall be submitted with each bid. The successful bidder will be required to furnish and pay all satisfactory performance and payment bond or bonds, workers compensation and vehicle liability. The bonds shall be from a Company which is on the U. S. Treasury Department list. Attention must be paid to the provisions for Equal Employment Opportunity as set forth in these documents. Attention is drawn to the fact that all wages and salaries must meet the minimum Davis Bacon requirements as set forth in the specifications. The Housing Authority reserves the right to reject any and all bids and to waive any informalities in the bidding.
