Invitation To Bid The Salvation Army of Knoxville will be accepting sealed bids for the "Salvation Army Plumbing Renovation" for buildings A and B. A Mandatory Pre-Bid Meeting will be held on April 14, 2026 at 10:00 am EST at the facility located in the Fellowship Hall (Adim. building) at 409 N. Broadway, Knoxville, Tennessee 37917. Sealed bids should be labeled "Salvation Army Plumbing Renovation" and either mailed to the Salvation Army to the attention of Kayla Klein, Director of Development at 409 N. Broadway, Knoxville, Tennessee 37917, or dropped of at 409 N. Broadway, Knoxville, Tennessee 37917. Sealed bids will be accepted until 2:00 pm EST, Wednesday, May 6, 2026 at which time bids will be opened in the Fellowship Hall (Admin. building). Each bid must be accompanied by a Bid Security in the form of a Cashier's Check or a Bid Bond in the sum of no less than ten percent (10%) of the total amount of the bid. Bid Bond shall be executed on AIA Document A310. Said bond will be returned to unsuccessful bidders as soon as the contract has been awarded and successful bidder has executed the contract and furnished necessary bonds. The successful bidder will be required to execute a performance bond in an amount equal to one hundred percent (100%) of the contract sum and a payment bond covering and including labor and materials in an amount equal to one hundred percent (100%) of the contract sum. Labor and material bonds shall be on AIA form A312. All bidders must be licensed contractors as required by contractors Licensing Act of 1976 (TCA §62-6-119). The Salvation Army of Knoxville reserves the right to accept or reject any and all bids and to waive all irregularities in the receipt/handling of bids.
