PROJECT: Monroe County Government Renovations for Election Central, 501 North Morton (Showers North), Bloomington, IN 47404.

INVITATION: You are invited to submit a sealed Bid for the complete construction of the above Project.
DESCRIPTION: Project includes all equipment, labor and materials to complete an interior renovation within the Showers North building. Work will include architectural, mechanical, plumbing, electrical and related work as shown on the Contract Documents prepared by Springpoint Architects, pc dated July 31, 2025.
Time: Bids will be received until Thursday, September 25, 2025 at 10:00 A.M., local time. The bids shall be noted for date and time upon receipt. Bids will be opened publicly at the Board of Commissioners Work Session following the Commissioners Meeting at 10:00 A.M.. Bids received after the deadline will be returned unopened. Bids received by facsimile or electronic mail will not be accepted.
Place: Monroe County Government Legal Department, 100 West Kirkwood Avenue, Suite 220, Bloomington, Indiana 47404.
TYPE OF BID: Stipulated Sum Bids will be received for the Work, which includes building renovations and all related and miscellaneous work, which will be awarded under a single prime contract.
TIME OF COMPLETION: Anticipated start-up for construction is November 1, 2025. The project is to be substantially complete within ninety (90) days of receiving the local building permit.
PROCUREMENT OF DOCUMENTS: Contract Documents shall be on file and may be examined at the Monroe County Courthouse, Room 323, 100 West Kirkwood Ave, Bloomington, Indiana 47404 and the office of the Architect, (Springpoint Architects, pc), 522 West Second Street, Bloomington, Indiana 47403. Project Documents will be available electronically to General Contractors by contacting Springpoint Architects, pc at 812-318-2930. Subcontractors and suppliers will need to obtain documents from a General Contractor.
BID SECURITY: Bid security in the amount of five percent (5%) of the Bid shall accompany each Bid. Bid security may be in the form of a bid bond, certified check or cashier's check payable to Monroe County Government. Other bidding requirements will be listed in the Project Specifications.
BONDS: A contract will be awarded to the lowest responsive and responsible Bidder. The successful Bidder is required to furnish an Assurance of Completion equal to 100% of the Contract Sum as Stated in the Project Documents.
RIGHT TO REJECT BID PROPOSALS: The Owner reserves the right to accept or reject any and all Bids and to waive any irregularities in bidding. All Bids may be held for a period not to exceed sixty (60) days before awarding Contracts.
PRE-BID MEETING: A Pre-Bid Meeting is scheduled for Tuesday, September 16, 2025 at 10:00 A.M., local time at the project site, 501 N. Morton Street, Bloomington, Indiana 47404 (meet at the entrance doors next to the southwest corner of the parking lot).
Contractor will be required to comply with all Federal, State and Local regulations, codes and requirements.
