Sealed bids for the New Lincoln Grade School at Washington Grade School District #52 will be received by the Board of Education of Washington Grade School District #52, located in Tazewell, Illinois, at the Washington Grade School District #52 District Office, 303 Jackson St., Washington, Illinois 61571, until 1:00 p.m. central prevailing time on Thursday, January 22, 2026

The Bid Documents are available from Midwest Construction Professionals. Bidders must submit all questions in writing to Mike Lucas at mikelucas@midconpro.com. Replies will be issued to all bidders of record in the form of an Addendum.
All bids must be accompanied with bid security in the form of a bid bond, certified check, or a cashier's check made payable to Washington Grade School District #52 in the amount of five percent (5%) of the bid amount. The bidder shall, within said ten (10) days, provide a Payment and Performance Bond, with a Surety to be approved by the district, in the amount of 100% of the cost of the contract, the cost of which shall be included in the bid. The form of the Payment and Performance Bond is subject to approval of counsel for the district.
The Board of Education reserves the right to reject any and all bids or any part thereof, to waive any informalities, errors of irregularity in bids received or in the bidding process, and to accept the bid that the Board of Education deems the most favorable to its interest after all bids have been examined and canvassed. The Board of Education will award the contract to the lowest responsible bidder that meets the criteria as established in the specifications and the contract will be awarded only after a formal notice is given to the successful bidder pursuant to action by the Board of Education.
