Invitation to Bid
The Board of Trustees of the Cutler-Orosi Joint Unified School District, Tulare County, California, invites and will receive sealed proposals from individual contractors on multiple prime contracts for site work related to the Career Technical Education (CTE) Building project located at Orosi High School, 41815 Road 128, Orosi, CA 93647.
Bid categories include: 1) Earthwork, 2) Site Electrical, 3) Underground, 4) Fire Alarm, 5) Site Plumbing, 6) Site Fencing, 7) Landscape, and 8) Site Concrete.
The school district will receive bids up to, but no later than 10:00 a.m. on July 28, 2026. Thereafter, said bids will be opened and read aloud. Bids received after this time will be returned unopened. Bids shall be valid for sixty (60) calendar days after the bid opening date.
All bids shall be delivered to the Cutler-Orosi Joint Unified School District Office located at 12623 Avenue 416, Orosi, CA 93647.
Electronic drawings, specifications, bid packages, and project information may be obtained by contacting the District Architect, Robert Thornton of TETER Architects & Engineers, located at 7535 N. Palm Avenue, Suite 201, Fresno, CA 93711, or by phone at (559) 437-0887, Monday through Friday between 8:00 a.m. and 5:00 p.m.
A non-mandatory pre-bid job walk is scheduled for July 9, 2026, at 10:00 a.m. at Orosi High School beginning at the main administration building.
This project is a public works project subject to prevailing wage requirements pursuant to the California Labor Code. All contractors and subcontractors must be registered with the Department of Industrial Relations (DIR) and comply with all applicable labor compliance requirements.
Bids must be accompanied by a cashier's check or Bid Bond in favor of the District in an amount not less than ten percent (10%) of the submitted total bid amount for the bidder's category. Successful bidders will comply with all California public labor laws regarding prevailing wage and bonding requirements.
The Board reserves the right to reject any or all bids and to waive any irregularities or informalities in the bidding process.
