Project Overview Abraxas Youth Center is seeking sealed bids from qualified vendors for the installation of security fencing and integrated access control systems at our outdoor recreation area. 2. Scope of Work & Technical Specifications The project requires the supply and professional installation of the following: • Fencing: Approximately 250 linear feet of 12-foot-high black chain-link fencing, utilizing 2-inch mesh by 8-gauge wire. • Structural Requirements: o All posts must be set securely in concrete. o Fencing installation must include top, bottom, and mid-rails for structural integrity. • Gates & Access Control: o Single Walk Gate: 4 feet wide by 7 feet high. o Double Swing Gate: 12 feet wide by 12 feet high. o Keypads: Each gate must be equipped with a vandal-resistant, weatherproof keypad capable of supporting at least 100 individual user codes. • No permitting requirements 3. Mandatory Site Visit To ensure all proposals are based on accurate site conditions, attendance at an onsite property visit is mandatory. Proposals submitted by vendors who did not attend one of the scheduled site visits will be automatically disqualified. • Dates: March 17, 2026 – March 19, 2026 • Time: 8:00 AM – 10:00 AM (local time) • Meeting Point: 10058 South Mountain Road, Building #3, South Mountain, PA 17261 4. Submission Instructions All proposals must be submitted in a sealed envelope marked "Security Fencing Bid – Abraxas Youth Center" and must include: o Itemized cost breakdown (materials, labor, access control systems). o Project timeline and estimated completion date. o Proof of insurance and relevant licensing.
