Invitation to Bidders for Prequalification
Clark/Sullivan Construction has been selected as the Construction Manager at Risk (CMAR) and is hereby requesting prequalification from subcontractors for the WCSD Vaughn Middle School Replacement – GMP 2 project. This project is Phase 2 for the Vaughn Middle School Replacement project and will involve demolition of the existing school to allow construction of new athletic fields, additional parking area construction, and a new field support/storage building.
Project Description:
Scope of Work shall include, but not be limited to; building demolition, site demolition, asbestos abatement, earthwork, site utilities, asphalt paving, fencing, site concrete, structural concrete, rebar, CMU, structural and misc. steel, rough carpentry, waterproofing, insulation, roofing, sheet metal flashings, caulking, doors and hardware, glass and glazing, metal stud framing, drywall, flooring, toilet compartments and accessories, wall/corner guards, signage, playground equipment, fire sprinklers, plumbing, HVAC, and electrical system scopes per contract documents.
GMP 2 Bid documents will be available to prequalified trade partners on, or near, Tuesday, February 10, 2026. Subcontractors who have not completed and submitted a prequalification by Tuesday, January 27, 2025, will NOT be eligible to bid on this project.

Notification to Prequalified Bidders: Tuesday, February 3, 2026
Anticipated Bid Date for Prequalified Trade Partners: Thursday, March 12, 2026
Project Schedule: June 2026 to April 2027 (Bid Documents to Include Preliminary Construction Schedule).

NOTICE: Subcontractors who will perform at least 1% of the estimated value of the work or $50,000 whichever is greater, must be qualified pursuant to NRS 338.16991 and NRS 338.16995. Proposals will be returned to the subcontractor unopened if the subcontractor has not been qualified per NAC 338.580. Payment and Performance Bonds may be required, and all bidders should be able to provide one if requested to. Subcontractor shall be responsible for adhering to the State of Nevada Apprenticeship Utilization Act in its entirety. Reporting shall be the direct responsibility of each subcontractor.
