Invitation to Comment on a Proposed Communications Tower Facility This notice is to serve as an opportunity for all interested members of the public to review and request further environmental processing of an FCC application for a proposed 300-foot (304 feet maximum with appurtenances) self-supporting lattice emergency communications tower located at 5885 NE 14th Street in the City of Des Moines, Polk County, Iowa. The approximate coordinates for the subject tower are: 41 – 40 – 15.69N, 93 – 35 –59.17W (41.671025, -93.599769). The proposed tower is intended to replace an existing 300-foot guyed tower on the subject property. The structure is proposed to be marked/lighted in accordance with FAA Advisory Circular 70/7460-1 M Change 1, Obstruction Marking and Lighting, a med-dual system-Chapters 4,8(M-Dual),&15. Interested persons may raise environmental concerns by filing a "Request for Environmental Review" within 30 days of the date that notice of the project is published on the FCC's website and may only raise environmental concerns associated with the proposed project.
