Irene McCormick is turning 99!

Irene turns 99 on January 9th. We will be celebrating Irene with an open house and card shower. The open house will be hosted by her family on Saturday, January 10th, from 2-4pm at Bethany Home Activity Center, located at 321 N. Chestnut, Lindsborg, KS. 67456. Birthday cards can be mailed to this same address, Room #56. Irene was born to Jess & Stella Morrical on January 9th, 1927 at the family farm in Lincoln County, Kansas. Irene worked in retail and as a bookkeeper most of her life. She worked for Swift & Co., Sears, the Koch house, the Salina Red Cross, the Kansas Highway Patrol and had her own decorating business, "Irene's" for many years on Ohio St. She served as the Treasurer for the Jolly Mixers Club for 22 years. Irene was a member of the ABWA Women's Assoc. & the VFW. Irene has 3 children. James & Ann McCormick, Bennington, KS. Connie & Kerry Gellert of Las Vegas, NV. Larry McCormick of Salina, KS. 3 Granddaughters, Mindy & Brandon of Marshville, NC, Jamie & JP Flynn of Salina, KS. Kirsten McCormick of Bend, OR. A step-Granddaughter, the Honorable Kerreen Gellert-Conley of Belleville, MI. & a step- Grandson, John Gellert of Milford, MI. 3 step-Grandsons, Tristan Gellert, Austin & Carson Conley all of MI.
