Call to Order - Work Session 25-18 Mayor Dierenfeld called the meeting to order at 5:30 p.m. B. Roll Call Members present Tom Cope, James Evans, Rhonda Martin, Suresh Reddy, Bryan Burkhardt Mayor Dierenfeld noted that the meeting would begin with Item 4, Department Updates 4. Department Updates Chief of Police Dennis McDaniel provided an update on his department's recent activities and ongoing efforts. 2. Work Session Items A: Update from Dylan Mullenix on the Des Moines Area Metropolitan Planning Organization Dylan Mullenix, Executive Director of the Des Moines Area MPO provided a member update, reviewing the purpose and structure of the MPO, funding, and services available to MPO members. He also gave updates on projects the MPO is working on including traffic flow analytics, and trail counts and analytics. B. Discuss Establishment of the Northwest Annexation Area Sanitary Sewer Connection Districts and Establishing Separate Sewer User Charges for Users Located within the District Moved to Staff Comments on the Regular Meeting agenda. C. Fiscal Year 26-27 Budget Kick Off Discussion City Administrator Mike Pogge-Weaver reviewed the proposed processes for the upcoming budget kick off. 3. Agenda Review No items were reviewed. 5.
