July 7, 2026, City Council Special & Strategic Meeting BONDURANT CITY COUNCIL Minutes July 7, 2026 Bondurant City Council Roll Call Present: Mayor Doug Elrod, Council Member Tara Cox, Council Member Angela McKenzie, Council Member Matt Sillanpaa, Council Member Chad Driscoll, Council Member Dennis Lyman City Officials Present: City Administrator Marketa Oliver, City Clerk Shelby Hagan, Assistant City Administrator Jene Jess, Parks & Recreation Director Katie Klus, Finance Director Craig Marshman, Planning & Community Development Director Maggie Murray, Library Director Michell Klinker-Feld, Public Works Director John Horton, Fire Chief Aaron Kreuder Call to Order and Declaring a Quorum Mayor Elrod called the meeting to order at 03:45 PM and declared a quorum. Perfecting and Approval of the Agenda Motion by Driscoll, seconded by McKenzie, to approve the agenda. Vote on Motion 5-0. Motion carried. Guests requesting to address the City Council - None. Strategic Planning Session City of Bondurant Goal Setting Workshop Agenda Mayor Elrod welcomed Council and staff to the City of Bondurant Goal Setting Workshop and provided opening remarks regarding the purpose of the strategic planning session. Chris Shires of Confluence moderated the workshop, facilitating discussion on the City's accomplishments and progress toward previous goals, long-term vision, future opportunities and challenges, strategic priorities, and potential goals to guide future planning and decision-making.
