KINNIKINNICK CCSD 131 SUMMER 2026 HLS IMPROVEMENTS 5410 PINE LN; 11685 SOUTH GATE RD; 11633 SOUTH GATE RD; AND 6121 ELEVATOR RD, ROSCOE, ILLINOIS 61073 Kinnikinnick CCSD No. 131 will receive single prime sealed bids for the Kinnikinnick CCSD 131 Summer 2026 HLS Improvements project until 3:30 p.m. local time on January 6, 2026 at the District Office, 5410 Pine Lane, Roscoe, Illinois 61073, at which time and place all bids will be publicly opened and read aloud. This project includes: Various interior improvements at all four District school buildings such as door/frame replacement, painting, ACT ceiling work, electrical work such as FA and egress lighting upgrades, and the extension of an existing sprinkler system. American Reprographics Company (www.e-arc.com), 640 North LaSalle Street, Suite 240, Chicago, Illinois, will have complete sets of the Bidding Documents to prospective bidders and subcontractors available for download through their Public Planroom under the "Print Center" link on their homepage. The Bid Documents will be available about December 12, 2025. There is no cost to download the drawings, however, prospective bidders must provide all requested information when completing the download process in order that they will receive proper updates. Prospective bidders may choose to purchase hard copies of the Bidding Documents from American Reprographics Company at their own expense. Site access can be coordinated with the Owner on weekdays 3:00-4:30 p.m. or from 7:00 a.m.–2:00 p.m. on December 22 or December 23, 2025, by contacting the Kinnikinnick CCSD #131 District Office three days prior at (815) 623-2837, ext 6100. Make proposals on the bid forms supplied in the Project Manual. No oral, telegraphic or telephonic proposals or modifications will be considered. Submit with each bid, a certified check or acceptable bidder's bond payable to Kinnikinnick CCSD No. 131 in an amount equal to ten percent (10%) of the total bid. The successful bidder will be required to furnish satisfactory Labor and Material Payment Bond, and Performance Bond. The successful bidder is required to pay the general prevailing wage for work as ascertained by the Illinois Department of Labor, and shall submit certified payroll records, in compliance with the Prevailing Wage Act (820 ILCS 130) and shall comply with all applicable Illinois statutory requirements regarding labor, including Equal Employment Opportunity laws. Bids may not be withdrawn within thirty (30) days after the scheduled time of opening bids, without the consent of the Owner. The Owner reserves the right to accept any bid or to reject any or all bids, or parts of such bids, and waive informalities or irregularities in bidding.
