LEGAL NOTICE 14 Damons Point Road & 1 Macombers Way, Marshfield, MA TOWN OF MARSHFIELD CONSERVATION COMMISSION NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING In compliance with the Regulations of Massachusetts General Laws, Chapter 131, Section 40, the "Wetlands Protection Act", and Code of the Town of Marshfield, Chapter 294 Wetlands Protection, a public hearing will be held by the Marshfield Conservation Commission on Wednesday, March 18, 2026 at 6:30 P.M. in the Select Board's Hearing Room, 2nd Floor, Town Hall, 870 Moraine St., Marshfield, to consider the Notice of Intent filed by: Brendon McCarthy and the Barbara E Place Nominee Trust, 14 Damons Point Road & 1 Macombers Way, Marshfield, M.A. to treat an area of invasive phragmites at 2 existing single family homes within bordering land subject to flooding, salt marsh and the riverfront area at 14 Damons Point Road and 1 Macombers Way, Marshfield, MA (F18-03-17 & F18-03-06C) (Sam). The public hearing will be conducted at the Marshfield Town Hall, Select Board's Chamber, 2nd Floor, 870 Moraine Street, Marshfield, Massachusetts. The Commission also informs the public that this public hearing may be conducted remotely as a consequence of the current public health emergency. The applicant and all interested parties are advised to check the Town website and/or Conservation Commission homepage for additional information and details. The Notice of Intent may be viewed upon request electronically made to the Conservation Commission.
