LEGAL NOTICE INVITATION TO BID The Bath Fire Protection District is accepting sealed bids for CONSTRUCTION OF ADDITION TO FIREHOUSE. Bid documents and specifications are available by request to Cindy Atherton by email at atherton73@casscomm.com. Sealed bids will be received until June 9, 2026, at 6:00 PM prevailing time, at the Bath Fire Department, 107 East First Street, Bath, Illinois, at which time the bids will be opened and read, and any bids received after that date will not be accepted. The envelope containing the bid documents should be clearly marked on the outside: BID FOR CONSTRUCTION OF ADDITION TO FIREHOUSE. Any questions regarding the specifications or bid requirements shall be submitted in writing to Cindy Atherton, at 107 East First Street, Bath, Illinois, or atherton73@casscomm.com. To minimize the need for communications about the bid, a pre-bid meeting will be held on May 19, 2026, at 4:00 PM at the Bath Fire Station, which all potential bidders are encouraged to attend. All bids shall remain open for acceptance until 5:00 p.m. on June 22, 2026. The Bath Fire Protection District reserves the right to accept or reject any and all bids, to waive any formalities or technicalities of the bid, and to accept the bid that is determined to be in the fire protection district's best interests.
