LEGAL NOTICE - Lafourche Crossing Field AR:lck Approval Date: January 27, 2026 STATE OF LOUISIANA DEPARTMENT OF CONSERVATION AND ENERGY BATON ROUGE, LOUISIANA January 15, 2026 RE: LAFOURCHE CROSSING FIELD29-K-1 TO ALL CONCERNED: This will advise that the following Legal Notice has been given to The Advocate, Baton Rouge, Louisiana, for publication: LEGAL NOTICESTATE OF LOUISIANA, DEPARTMENT OF CONSERVATION AND ENERGY, BATON ROUGE, LOUISIANA. In accordance with the laws of the State of Louisiana, and with particular reference to the provisions of Title 30 of Louisiana Revised Statutes of 1950 and Statewide Order No. 29-K-1, the following notice is given: Please be advised that Square Mile Energy, L.L.C. has made application to designate their proposed ROB L RC SUA; Bourgeois Et Al No. 001 Well, located Section 16, Township 15 South, Range 17 East, as the substitute unit well for the ROB L RC SUA, Lafourche Crossing Field, Lafourche Parish, Louisiana, which unit was created by the Department of Conservation and Energy Order No. 63-R-1 effective December 10, 2023. This proposed well is to be substituted for the ROB L RC SUA; Kearns No. 001 Well (SN 247735) which has experienced mechanical problems and has been taken off production. Application review by the Department of Conservation and Energy indicates that all requirements of Statewide Order No. 29-K-1, which governs the designation of substitute unit wells, have been met. Should any interested party feel that this application for the designation of the substitute unit well should not be approved, he is afforded the opportunity to make his objections known within the ten (10) calendar day period following the date of this Notice by filing an application for a public hearing in accordance with LAC 43:XIX.3901 et seq. (Rules of Procedure) along with the $755 fee referencing this notice and his opposition thereto to the Department of Conservation and Energy, P. O. Box 94275, Baton Rouge, LA 70804-9275, with copies to the other parties as specified in the rules. In the absence of the timely filing of a proper and complete application for public hearing including applicable fee, a Supplemental Order will be issued designating the substitute unit well as requested by the applicant. With respect to the computation of said ten (10) calendar day period of time allowed for receiving written application for public hearing, the date of this Legal Notice and the approval date shall not be included. In the event the last day of said ten (10) calendar day period falls on a Saturday, Sunday or a legal holiday, it shall be understood that the last day of said ten (10) calendar day period will then be considered to be the following Monday or the day following the legal holiday. A copy of this application is available for inspection in the Department of Conservation and Energy in Baton Rouge and Lafayette, Louisiana.All parties having interest therein shall take notice thereof.
