REQUEST FOR PROPOSALS
INFORMATION TECHNOLOGY SERVICES
MWRTA invites technical and sealed price proposals (the "Proposals") from qualified firms to provide information technology services (the "Services") under a three (3) year contract beginning on July 1, 2026, with two (2) additional one (1) year options exercisable at MWRTA's sole discretion (the "RFP").
Services shall include transit technology support, IT infrastructure management, cybersecurity and compliance services, technology planning and integration, safety and regulatory support, and grant and capital project IT assistance.
The RFP will be available beginning Wednesday, April 1, 2026, by email request to Cameron Sullivan, Capital Projects & Procurement Manager, at cam@mwrta.com.
MWRTA will hold a pre-proposal conference on Friday, April 10, 2026, at 10:00 AM at 15 Blandin Avenue, Framingham, MA 01702 (the "Blandin Hub"). Attendance is strongly encouraged but not mandatory.
Proposals must be received by MWRTA at the Blandin Hub no later than Friday, May 1, 2026, at 10:00 AM. Late Proposals will be rejected.
Any contract resulting from this RFP is subject to funding by the United States Department of Transportation, the Federal Transit Administration, and the Massachusetts Department of Transportation, and shall comply with all applicable federal, state, and local laws, regulations, and procurement standards, including 2 CFR 200, FTA Circular 4220.1G, and MGL c. 30B.
MWRTA reserves the right, in its sole discretion, to reject any or all Proposals and to waive informalities as it deems necessary in the best interest of MWRTA.
