NOTICE OF HEARING
PENNSAUKEN TOWNSHIP PLANNING BOARD
PLEASE TAKE NOTICE that the Food Bank of New Jersey, Inc. (the "Applicant") has applied to Planning Board of the Township of Pennsauken (the "Planning Board") seeking preliminary and final major site plan approval to install a greenhouse at the Applicant's Center for Health, Wellness, and Nutrition, along with four (4) additional ADA-compliant parking spaces (collectively, the "Application"), at the property located at 1300 John Tipton Boulevard, further identified as Block 1901, Lot 4 on the Official Tax Map for the Township of Pennsauken (the "Property"). The Applicant also requires bulk variance relief from Pennsauken Township Code Section 141-83C.(2)(b), which requires a 35' foot side yard setback abutting a street, where the Applicant is proposing a 22.3' side yard setback abutting a street. The Applicant further requests all additional variances and/or waivers which may be required upon review of the Application by the Planning Board and/or its professionals.
A public hearing will be held regarding this Application on Tuesday, May 26, 2026 at 6:30 p.m., in the Committee Meeting Room on the 2nd Floor of the Township Municipal Building located at 2400 Merchantville Avenue, Pennsauken, New Jersey 08110, at which time you may appear either in person or by attorney and present objections you may have to this Application. The Application and plans are available for examination in the Township Planning and Zoning Office, located at 2400 Merchantville Avenue, Pennsauken, New Jersey 08110, during regular business hours Monday through Friday. This notice is being given in accordance with the requirements of the Pennsauken Township Ordinance and the Municipal Land Use Law (N.J.S.A 40:55D-1 et. seq.). Please take further notice that the Planning Board may, at its discretion, adjourn, postpone or continue the said hearings from time to time, and you are hereby notified that you must make diligent inquiry of the Planning Board Secretary concerning such adjournments, postponements, or continuations.
