LAND USE BOARD
PLEASE TAKE NOTICE that on May 6, 2026, the Land Use Board of the Borough of Shrewsbury took formal action on the application of RTR Motors LLC and West Shrewsbury Properties LLC.
The applicants sought a Use Variance pursuant to N.J.S.A. 40:55D-70(d) permitting a State licensed dealership for the accessory sale of used vehicles (maximum three (3) used vehicles for a sale at any one time) in an LI – Light Industrial zone, affecting the property located at 791 Shrewsbury Avenue, Shrewsbury, NJ 07702, also known as Block 29, Lot 12 on the municipal tax map.
UPON REVIEW of the application, testimony, and evidence presented at the public hearing, the Board GRANTED the requested use variance, subject to certain terms, conditions, and/or stipulations as set forth in the memorializing Resolution adopted by the Board on May 6, 2026.
FURTHER TAKE NOTICE that the Resolution and associated documents are on file and available for public inspection during normal business hours in the office of the Board Secretary at the Municipal Building, located at 419 Sycamore Avenue, Shrewsbury NJ 07702 (Board Contact: 732-741-4200 x115/ kwharton@shrewsburyboro.com).
Any person or entity aggrieved by this decision of the Board may appeal by filing an action in the Superior Court of New Jersey, Law Division, within forty-five (45) days from the date of the publication of this Legal Notice.
