SPEEDWAY BOARD OF ZONING APPEALS OF MARION COUNTY

Notice is hereby given that the undersigned has filed with the Speedway Board of Zoning Appeals of Marion
County, Indiana, a petition requesting the following:
Proposed building to be 30x40 with 15' walls and 4/12 pitch roof (Approx. 20' overall height). The use will be
to park the property owner's recreational vehicle that requires a minimum of a 14' overhead door height and
40 foot building length. The remainder of the building would be used for storage of other items. Due to the
height restriction of the ordinance we request a modification of the Development Standards. Section 743-306

The petition and all exhibits and plans filed therewith may be examined in the Board's office at the Speedway
Municipal Center, 5300 Crawfordsville Road, Room 116, Speedway Indiana 46224, between the hours of 8:30
A.M. to 4:30 P.M., Monday through Friday, excluding Town designated holidays. Written objections to the
petition may be filed with the Recording Secretary to the Speedway Board of Zoning Appeals at the above
address and such objections will be considered.
Contacting members of the Speedway Board of Zoning Appeals regarding a pending petition is prohibited.
A public hearing will be held at the Speedway Municipal Center, 5300 Crawfordsville Road, Room 005, on
September 3, 2025, at 7:00 P.M. All interested persons will be given an opportunity to be heard in reference to
the matters set out in said petition. The hearing may be continued from time to time as may be found
necessary.
