PLEASE TAKE NOTICE that on the 8th day of January 2026 at 7:30 pm, a hearing will be held before the Borough of Metuchen Zoning Board of Adjustment on the application of the undersigned for the following:
1. 1. Minimum Each Side Yard Setback required is 8' and proposed is 4'. (110-64)
2. 2. Minimum Combined Side Yard Setback required is 18' and proposed is 12.53'.

3. 3. Overhang is not classified as a permitted projection. (110.110)
There is an existing roof above walkout basement door. I want to construct wall aroundthe exposed steps enclosure and extend roof to cover all the exposed steps to the basement door and put another door at the 1st entrance step for safety and security of my family and visitors, so they have safe and secure access to the basement.
PLEASE TAKE FURTHER NOTICE, that the subject site is located at 152 Central Ave,
Metuchen NJ 08840 and designated as Block 84, Lot(s) 26 as shown on the Borough
Tax Map, located in the R-2 zoning district. This appeal / application will be heard at
Borough Hall, 500 Main Street, Metuchen, NJ 08840 at which time you may appear
either in person or by attorney and present any objection which you may have to the granting of this appeal / application. Documents and plans filed by the undersigned are available for inspection on the Borough of Metuchen website or at Borough Hall, Office of Planning and Zoning, 500 Main Street, Metuchen NJ 08840 during regular business hours.
